From Patience to Patients

How I balance life as a homeschool mom who also works outside the home.

About

I am a wife and homeschooling mom of four beautiful children. I’m not what you call a “traditional” homeschool mom simply for the fact that I also work outside the home as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. I decided to share my adventures of what it’s like to be a WOHM (Working Outside Homeschool Mom)-my own abbreviation. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of information out there for the working homeschool mom or even a blog sharing life experiences. That is my reason for starting From Patience to Patients. I hope and pray that I can be an encouragement to other working homeschool moms and give others a little insight into what goes on in my life of constantly trying to balance things while putting two completely different hats on. Be prepared to hear the ups, the downs and the in-between days all while trying to keep an unwavering faith and trust in God as my rock. It is through Him that I am able to manage my crazy, but rewarding life.

In His Hands,
Elizabeth
